This is definitely one fashion-packed weekend not to miss, see you there!
Finally, red- carpet fashions that are actually quite lovely. After this year’s disasters at the Teen Choice Awards, 2009 Oscars, etc., it’s quite refreshing to see some fabulous dresses, even if many of them teetered on the safe side.
Drew Barrymore looks as ravishing as her gown, Sandra Oh is just stunning and Rose Byrne looks dazzling in a sparkling Valentino frock.
Here’s some of the most glamorous gals at the 61st Annual Emmy Awards. Who’s your favorite?

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week has kicked off kids, let the fun begin!
Last night was the highly-anticipated Fashion’s Night Out event and Victoria Beckham made an appearance at Bergdorf Goodman in some seriously tall thigh-high boots and this Giles Deacon micro-mini.
Too much? Just right? What do you think of the look?

- Fab: Mrs. Beckham always looks fierce (3 votes)
- Bad: Uh, is that a streewalker? Or just that ex-Spice Girl trying too hard again (6 votes)

It’s finally here, the big Fashion’s Night Out and of course being a West Coast girl….I am not in New York. For the rest of you who aren’t and are sitting at home morbidly jealous hearing about all the celebrity and designer appearances, 40 Neiman Marcus stores across the country will be participating and hosting their own Fashion’s Night Out event tonight too.
So yup, you can joing on in the party too! Think designer appearances, fabulous cocktails, entertainment and hors d’oeuvres too. You can purchase the official Fashion’s Night Out tee at the event for $30; 40% of proceeds will go to the September 11 Memorial and Museum.
And, if you’re in the mood for some shoe shopping (and really when aren’t we?!?) you’ll receive a free Manolo Blahnik shirt with a purchase of Manolos.
Check your local Neiman Marcus for event deets. I’ll be hitting up my local Neiman’s at Scottsdale Fashion Square tonight where they’ll have eats courtesy of Fox Restaurant Concepts and Phoenix Heart Ball Gowns on display.
Remember in The Devil Wears Prada how Meryl Streep’s character so eloquently says, “Florals, for spring? Groundbreaking.” Yup, it’s definitely one of those memorable fashion moments that also makes me think, “Black and gray for fall? Groundbreaking.” But this season the usual dark and dreary winter palette was replaced with, of all things, bright, bold and cheery splashes of color. Neons, to be exact, a trend so unexpected for winter and one you can definitely start wearing now.

If the idea of such out-there flamboyant color totally gives you the skivvies, try easing into the trend with a neon accessory like a headband or clutch. After all, if you aren’t comfortable it’s not a trend worth trying.
Yah yah, it’s not fall yet. In fact, I think it was like 110 today. But one fall trend I cannot stop thinking about are ripped leggings!
In general, I’m a little bit over the leggings trend. But these new patterned and ripped ones are oh-so-fun. You can get them shredded on the side, shredded down the middle, just a little bit or shredded like crazy! Shopbop.com made me fall in love with many like:

Anytime you’re rocking leggings, make sure your top covers your bum. Throw on a little leather jacket and you’ll totally be channeling this season’s rocker-chic trend.
P.S. Looking to score the look for less? I got a pair just like the David Lerner ones on the bottom left at Forever 21. That’s $12 vs. $100, talk about a steal!
