Wedding season is definitely here! And it seems as if the question all my friends are asking as of late is what to wear to that summer wedding?

Summer weddings are such a great excuse for a bright, printed or whismical dress. And even though there are a few black dresses posted (hey, you can never go wrong with a nice, black cocktail dress), there’s plenty of options this season to truly dazzle.

This week has absolutely flown by. Usually, this is great. But in this case, it means it’s getting warmer and warmer every day.

I scooped up a pair of insanely discounted Calvin Klein wedges the other day, but with summer here, I feel desperately in need of at least 4 more pairs. After all, we need several for just about every outfit, right? Absolutely.

The great thing about wedges is you still get the height and they showcase sexy stems without looking like you’re trying too hard. Unlike typical stilletos, you can wear them from day to night. For summer 2010 wedges, here are a few of my current obsessions:

These Alaia leather wedges are so darling, they don’t even need an intro. Though at $2,000 a pair, they might need a loan agreement.

A cute, casual wedge is definitely hard to find. These pair of Alexandar Wang black wedges with tassel detailing are a great wear-to-work option.

These chocolate Diane von Furstenberg wedges would be great with jeans or a sundress
