It’s hard to believe our wedding is just four months away. I feel like all at once the festivities are finally beginning, which ironically also means it’s almost over.  I can’t wait for the celebrations to begin, but I almost want to postpone them to savor my time as a Bride to Be just a little longer.

That’s the thing about engagements, it’s always a flurry of conflicting emotions, like you’re constantly spiraling on the craziest ride of your life. No one can tell you how to navigate the ship, it’s different for everyone. And it’s easy to be distracted by planning to remember to stop and savor it all. But you should. Because it’s gone just as quickly as it came.

There’s beautiful views, treacherous waters and wonderful moments to be savored, too. But every journey is uniquely different. Don’t miss yours, I don’t intend to miss mine.
